You created a line item in a Display & Video 360 mobile web campaign that accidentally targets mobile in-app. You remove that mobile in-app targeting at the insertion order level, yet the campaign in continuing to target mobile-in app. What’s the issue here?

 

  • You can’t modify targeting once the campaign has line items assigned.
  • You can’t modify insertion order targeting at the line item level.
  • You can’t modify targeting for mobile in-app inventory.
  • You can’t modify existing line item targeting at the insertion order level.

 

In the context of Display & Video 360, if a line item is created with targeting settings at the insertion order level, attempting to modify
those settings at the insertion order level will not impact existing line item targeting. The targeting settings at the line item level,
once set, generally cannot be modified retroactively at the insertion order level. Therefore, if there was an accidental targeting of
mobile in-app at the line item level, removing it at the insertion order level would not rectify the situation. This limitation ensures that
changes made at higher levels in the hierarchy do not unintentionally impact the configurations at lower levels, providing a clear
structure for campaign management in Display & Video 360.
